Insomnia
Introduction

Insomnia is an experience of inadequate or poor quality sleep as characterized by:
- Difficulty initiating sleep
- Difficulty maintaining sleep
- Difficulty falling back into sleep after awakening at night
- Waking too early in the morning
Insomnia could be acute or short term, which is often due to a temporary situation such as stress, jetlag, emotional trauma, car accident, fall or any sudden physical trauma. It usually lasts for one month and is treatable with appropriate treatment such as:
